Daniela Nardini, known for her BBC series role, now lives and works as a therapist in the West End of Glasgow. A visit to her consulting room shows a calm, formal atmosphere with plants and zen art. She offers coffee and quickly draws out the visitor’s life story. When asked whether therapy clients seek her out because of her earlier television work, she reacts with astonishment and says it has not happened. She notes that many clients are women in midlife. She frames therapy as a setting for conversations about real, often dark and difficult issues.
