The Met Office has issued a weather warning for thunderstorms and heavy rain, with a yellow warning in place for parts of the UK until midnight on Monday.
Areas of heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue affecting parts of the UK, with some regions possibly receiving 30 to 40 mm of rain in less than an hour.
The greatest chance of impacts is across eastern Scotland this afternoon, as well as parts of Wales and the West Midlands, with risks continuing into Monday night.
If you hear thunder while outdoors, the Met Office advises seeking safe shelter and avoiding areas near trees, as they can be struck by lightning.
