Woman in her 60s dies after stabbing at address in Surrey Quays

Detective Chief Inspector Kate Blackburn stated, 'Officers together with the London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance responded quickly but sadly, the woman in her 60s died in hospital yesterday evening.'

The Metropolitan Police confirmed, 'A murder investigation has been launched by the Met following the death of a woman at an address on Greenland Quay, SE16 on Friday, 29 November.'

According to the police, 'At this stage, we believe that this was an isolated incident with the man and woman known to each other.'

Spokesperson from the Metropolitan Police said, 'Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or post @MetCC ref CAD 4235/29November.'
