Where and when you can ride vintage 1950s buses in Bromley this weekend
Briefly

To mark the 100th anniversary of Bromley Bus Garage this Saturday, vintage buses dating back to the 1950s will be touring around Bromley, as part of Heritage Open Days.
These buses, put on by the London Bus Museum, will mainly be the well-known RT-type, which was the largest standardised bus fleet in the world during the 1950s alongside its successor the Routemaster.
According to London Bus Museum, these bus trips will be free to the public with no need to book, allowing anyone to board simply by requesting a stop.
Alongside the RT-type buses, a range of more modern buses will run on the 261 and 61 bus routes starting from Lewisham, serving Bromley, Orpington, and Chislehurst.
