The London Fire Brigade reported that around 70 firefighters responded to a fire in West Hampstead, successfully controlling the blaze, with no injuries reported.
Station Commander Ken Spratt noted that advanced equipment like a 64-metre turntable ladder and drones were employed to effectively manage the situation and strategize.
About 25 residents were evacuated to safety, and West Hampstead Fire Station was designated as a rest area for those affected by the fire.
The fire began around 3am, and emergency crews from multiple stations, including West Hampstead and Paddington, were promptly dispatched to tackle the situation.
