Wembley landlord fined nearly 50,000 for housing eight people in five-person house of horrors'

Sanjay Patel has been fined nearly £50,000 for violating housing regulations by overcrowding a two-storey home, putting eight tenants, including children, at risk.

Councillor Muhammed Butt emphasized, 'This case shows how seriously we pursue landlords who try to exploit tenants in Brent. We won't let rogue landlords deny renters their right to live in safe, decent and secure homes.'
