A crowdfunding page for AFC Wimbledon, set up after heavy flooding damaged their stadium, has received over 100,000 in donations, reflecting remarkable fan support.
Lifelong fan Graham Stacey created the JustGiving page with an initial target of 10,000, but the outpouring of support has pushed the goal up to 150,000.
Stacey expressed amazement at the donations, highlighting contributions from fans across the country, and praised Newcastle United for their generous support of 15,000.
Stacey, reflecting on the donations, said, 'People have a pop at the Premier League but this shows there's a heart there, at the end of the day.'
