Two Van Gogh paintings to be shown in London for first time, say reports

The Courtauld Gallery is set to exhibit two significant Vincent van Gogh paintings, created during his time in a hospital in Arles, from February 14 to May 26. These artworks, The Courtyard of the Hospital at Arles and The Ward in the Hospital at Arles, offer unique insight into Van Gogh's struggles and artistic process. Previously held in a collection in Switzerland, these paintings will be showcased alongside works by artists like Goya and Courbet in an exhibition titled Goya to Impressionism.
The Courtauld Gallery will present two of Vincent van Gogh's paintings, created during his time in a hospital in Arles, for the first time in London.
The paintings, The Courtyard of the Hospital at Arles and The Ward in the Hospital at Arles, were painted in 1889 while Van Gogh was hospitalized.
