Trains across swathe of south London to be seriously disrupted for nine days due to upgrade works
Briefly

Network Rail is advising passengers in south London to prepare for significant disruptions due to major track upgrades in the Crystal Palace area, impacting services.
Engineers will replace 1,500m of track, five sets of switches and crossings, and moveable rails, leading to no Southern Railway trains running at several key stations.
To ensure smooth operations, passengers can use their tickets on London Underground, London Overground, and London Buses during the track upgrade disruption.
Lucy McAuliffe stated, 'This work will help reduce train delays and improve passenger journeys,' while urging everyone to check travel options before heading out.
