Everitt Road Properties has applied to Lambeth Council to turn the former police station, vacant since 2015, into a 57-bed hotel and café.
The planning document indicates that the location is deemed suitable for more hospitality facilities, given the existing hotel landscape in the area.
An old jazz club in Streatham is also set to become a Travelodge, with plans already approved, showing a trend of hotel development in the neighborhood.
Lambeth Council's consultation on the proposal is set for September 4, deciding the fate of this ambitious transformation of the old police headquarters.
