'This mental health programme has helped me personally - we need to roll it out'
Briefly

The Tree of Life project has been nominated for the Health Equalities title, supporting mental health for secondary school students in Hackney and Shoreditch.
Sessions are run by peer group leaders with Afro-Caribbean backgrounds who provide a safe space for youngsters to discuss difficult experiences.
Health volunteer Jesse Orlando stated, 'Tree of Life has helped me personally with my confidence... We need to roll this programme out'.
The project, shortlisted for a national award, aims to disrupt traditional mental health therapies by offering community-centered support for the Black population.
