The National Theatre has established an annual tradition of offering one major free play a year, continuing to provide access to theatrical experiences that previously kept audiences engaged during lockdown.
Tim Price's biographical drama on Aneurin Bevan, titled Nye, portrays the complexities of the NHS founder's character, as seen through Michael Sheen's dynamic performance, bringing forth Bevan's legacy.
Following its successful run earlier this year, Nye will be presented as a free stream from November 7, showcasing high production standards as part of NT Live.
In addition to the online streaming, Nye will return live to the National Theatre in the summer of 2025, indicating the enduring appeal of this unique theatrical work.
