The lack of usage can be attributed to only eight trains calling at the station daily, and none during the weekends, contributing to declining passenger numbers.
While Sudbury and Harrow Road recorded the fewest journeys, Drayton Green, previously the quietest station, had its traffic increase by over 4,000 journeys this past year.
In stark contrast to Sudbury and Harrow Road's 18,680 journeys, London Liverpool Street remained the UK’s busiest station with nearly 100 million exits and entrances last year.
