The decision to close the banks comes as customers are turning to online banking to manage their finances.
There have been 249 closures scheduled for 2024, these include 90 from Barclays, 60 from Lloyds, 47 from Halifax, 21 from NatWest, 16 from Bank of Scotland, 10 Ulster Bank branches, four Danske branches, and one RBS branch.
