TfL to refund drivers wrongly issued with Ulez fines after cameras vandalised
Briefly

Transport for London has expressed that refunds will be issued to drivers who received incorrect ultra-low emission zone charges due to vandalism of enforcement cameras in Chingford.
A TfL spokesperson noted that the misaligned cameras were vandalized, pointing outside the Ulez boundary, and fines issued during this time will be canceled.
Vandalism of Ulez cameras is deemed unacceptable by TfL, stating that such incidents are reported to the police, risking prosecution for the perpetrators.
TfL reassured that despite camera vandalism, the Ulez will continue operating city-wide, and all damaged cameras will be promptly repaired or replaced.
