TfL announces when the Silvertown Tunnel will open - London Business News | Londonlovesbusiness.com
Briefly

The Silvertown Tunnel is set to open on 7 April 2025, introducing new bus routes that will be free for at least the first year. This development will increase the cross-river bus provision significantly, from six to 21 hourly services. The new Superloop 4 will connect Canary Wharf to Grove Park, improving accessibility for Londoners and promoting zero-emission transportation in the area.
As part of the Silvertown Tunnel project, TfL is implementing infrastructure to support zero-emission bus routes and a unique cycle-shuttle service under the Thames. This shuttle service will operate every 12 minutes, seven days a week, serving two stops designed specifically for cyclists. New shelters and cycle racks will be installed, featuring bespoke designs to clearly distinguish them from regular bus services.
