Transport for London (TfL) has enhanced the TfL Go app, allowing users to apply for journey refunds, top up pay-as-you-go credit, and purchase adult rate season tickets directly. Launched in 2020, the app serves around one million active users monthly, offering features like real-time travel information and a step-free navigation option. Emma Strain from TfL emphasized the importance of these updates for enhancing user accessibility and journey planning. Future updates will include support for adult concessionary Oyster photocards to increase user convenience.
TfL Go app users can now apply for refunds, top up pay-as-you-go credit, and buy adult rate season tickets without visiting the TfL website.
The TfL Go app, providing real-time transit information and alternative route suggestions, has been downloaded over seven million times since its launch in 2020.
