A jury ruled that McDonald did inflict grievous bodily harm and was in possession of a knife.
A new licence was granted by Greenwich Council in November 2022 and the pub reopened as the Star of Greenwich.
Police claimed staff didn't call them and hadn't taken steps to prevent the incident happening.
