Garey Cotter, 48, was caught supplying drugs in St Leonards, leading to his arrest and discovery of a rented property containing significant amounts of drugs and cash.
Musa Massaquoi, 21, was found inside the rented property during the police raid, which revealed £1,500 in drugs and £6,500 in cash.
Detective Chief Inspector Catherine O'Connor stated this case highlights the relentless efforts of law enforcement to tackle the distribution of class A drugs.
Both Cotter and Massaquoi were sentenced to 2 years and 7 months in prison for their roles in drug dealing and money laundering.
