Sheds, garage and transit van damaged after fire across two Mitcham homes

A fire occurred in Mitcham at 4.28am on July 3, damaging several outbuildings across two homes. Firefighters discovered three damaged sheds, partial garage destruction, and a flat-bed transit van engulfed in flames. Additionally, five metres of fencing sustained damage. As a safety precaution, three gas cylinders were cooled and removed since they can explode under heat. The London Fire Brigade received around 16 calls about the incident, and multiple fire stations were dispatched to control the blaze. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries from the fire.
