Serial offender Jay Langley has been sentenced to a community order instead of jail time, despite committing multiple thefts including charity box thefts and driving without insurance.
For his recent crimes, Langley has been ordered to participate in drug rehabilitation activities and provide regular drug tests over the next six months.
Langley is no stranger to legal troubles, previously receiving a 15-month prison sentence for a series of thefts from charity shops, pharmacies, and more.
In a notable incident in 2018, Langley led police on a dangerous high-speed chase, resulting in a prison sentence and a three-year driving ban.
