The Gym Group Plaistow in Plaistow Road officially opened on July 23 as part of the Plaistow Hub development. It is the group's first branch in the area, offering training spaces, free weights, and cardio machines to members.
Alpha Cauwenbergh, general manager of The Gym Group Plaistow, mentioned, 'Whether you are a regular gym goer or new to the gym, together with my team we are ready to support all fitness goals with high-spec kit and a packed schedule of exercise classes.'
The launch forms part of the company's wider expansion plans across Greater London, with another opening recently announced for a Hornchurch gym later this year. Further east London Gym Group facilities are set to open later this year in Bromley-by-Bow and East Ham.
