A moped that was being chased by police hit a pedestrian, before a firearm was reportedly dropped to the floor where it discharged.
Both men appeared before Bromley Magistrates' Court on Wednesday. They were remanded in custody to next appear at Inner London Crown Court on Wednesday, April 3.
