Search for woman after poster stand crushes victim's foot at Waterloo

The incident occurred on Tuesday, February 13, around 7.40pm, when a woman was seen shouting on a Jubilee line train before disembarking at Waterloo. British Transport Police said she then headed towards the escalators and dislodged a six-foot poster stand, which hit the victim. This caused an ankle injury requiring surgery and several days in hospital.
Officers investigating an assault on the escalators at Waterloo underground station are releasing an image of the woman involved. Anyone recognizing her is urged to contact BTP for more details to assist with the investigation.
