Firefighters are working to extinguish a number of hot spots across a site approximately 100 metres by 50 metres in size,
Police have also been on the scene responsible for closing roads.
Just last week on July 11, a fire burned for hours and destroyed grassland near Launders Lane, the cause unknown.
