Protest to save shopping centre postponed due to bad weather
Briefly

Campaigners from the Save Our Edgware group were set to gather to voice their concerns about a proposed development plan for 3,365 homes, but had to postpone due to severe weather warnings.
The plans have proved controversial in Edgware ever since their introduction, with local residents raising alarms over traffic disruptions, the impact on elderly shoppers, and threats to the rail sector.
Ballymore proposes to incorporate significant green space into the new development, including a 4.7-acre nature park, alongside the construction of thousands of new residential units.
The tallest building proposed will be 29 storeys high, with a total of 20 planned blocks including various heights, sparking local debate over the visual and environmental impact on Edgware.
