The building and some surrounding roads will be subject to cordons for some time. We are working with our fire brigade colleagues to minimise disruption to the public, however safety is our first priority.
Investigations are ongoing into the fire... Forest Gate officers have been temporarily relocated to other centres across Newham whilst the building remains out of bounds.
