A person was treated at the scene of a middle-of-the-night house fire in Vauxhall, with six fire engines and around 40 firefighters responding swiftly to the incident.
The entire first floor of the house and parts of the second floor of the three-storey structure were destroyed by the blaze, highlighting the fire's intensity.
London Fire Brigade noted that the fire was under control by 5.25am, quickly mitigating a potentially more disastrous situation, though the cause remains undetermined.
An adult suffered minor smoke inhalation and was treated on scene by the London Ambulance Service, demonstrating the dangers of house fires even in swift response situations.
