A person has died after an incident on the Elizabeth line at Hanwell station. Authorities confirmed the incident is not suspicious and a file will be submitted to the coroner.
British Transport Police reported that officers responded quickly to a casualty on the tracks at around 1.15pm, but unfortunately, the individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
All lines between London Paddington and Reading have been suspended following the tragedy, causing major disruption expected to last until 4.30pm.
