A woman has died after reports that an elderly person had fallen unwell in a Barnet high street. Emergency services were called to Church Hill Road in East Barnet Village shortly before 1 pm this afternoon (May 7). There had been reports of a woman - believed to be aged in her 80s - who was unwell in or around a cafe.
Paramedics from London Ambulance Service (LAS) arrived within four minutes. A LAS spokesperson confirmed that the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Ambulance crews, an advance paramedic, and an incident response officer all attended the scene.
