New Malden: Fire at south London house under investigation

The cause of a fire at a house in south-west London is under investigation. Four fire engines and 25 firefighters were sent to the blaze.
Crews from New Malden, Surbiton and Kingston fire stations attended the scene. The fire engulfed part of the ground floor and first floor of the property.
A conservatory at the property has also been destroyed. The London Fire Brigade has announced the fire is now under control.
On a post to X, a spokesperson wrote: The fire in #NewMalden is under control. The cause of the incident is now under investigation.
