New images released of 16-storey office and hotel block on top of Liverpool Street station

The 1.5bn scheme, from Shard developer Sellar, Elizabeth Line operator MTR and Network Rail, is due to be submitted to the City of London Corporation by the end of March, in a bid to secure planning permission.The aim is to start construction work by mid-2025.But early designs have been criticised by conservation groups and actor Griff Rhys Jones amid fears they will trample on Liverpool Street mainline station and its Victorian heritage and harm views of St Paul's Cathedral.
