More trains set to run from south east London to the coast this bank holiday
Briefly

In an effort to encourage public transport use, Southeastern will operate a full service, including added trains to coastal destinations, during a busy bank holiday weekend.
The RAC projects this bank holiday will see 19.2 million leisure journeys, marking the busiest August bank holiday on the roads in nearly a decade.
Southeastern is promoting travel to popular beach destinations like Whitstable and Margate with direct services and offering cost-saving options for families and groups.
This weekend, Southeastern will run a Saturday timetable on Saturday and Monday, with additional carriages to accommodate increased passenger numbers.
