More Than 350 Cartier Creations to Go on Display in London
Briefly

Scheduled from April 12 to November 16, the Victoria and Albert Museum will showcase over 350 Cartier jewels and objects. This exhibition is the first major presentation since the British Museum's in 1997 and aims to highlight the significant role of Cartier London, established in 1902. Co-curator Rachel Garrahan emphasized the lesser-known history and royal connections of Cartier, including its royal warrant since 1904. The exhibition, located in the museum's largest gallery, will feature notable pieces like the 1903 Manchester tiara and Princess Margaret's coronation brooch.
The idea was to tell the story of Cartier through the eyes of the museum and to pay heed to Cartier London. It was established in 1902.
People today think of it as a French brand, but Cartier U.K. still exists today. There are incredible stories throughout its history.
The exhibition is being presented in the 1,100-square-meter Sainsbury Gallery, the museum's largest space, showcasing over 350 Cartier jewels and objects.
Highlights include the 1903 Manchester tiara, a piece commissioned by Consuelo, the Dowager Duchess of Manchester, showcasing stunning craftsmanship.
