Met not doing enough for exploited children, says watchdog report

"The Metropolitan Police is not doing enough to protect children who are being exploited or at risk of exploitation... the force's response is currently not effective..."
The report also raised concerns about victim-blaming language among officers and staff, as well as a lack of identification of exploitation and understanding of the links between missing children and exploitation... The report recommended more training, working with safeguarding partners, following all reasonable lines of inquiry, and challenging victim-blaming language.
