Martine Croxall and her colleagues claim they were unfairly passed over for chief presenter roles due to a rigged recruitment process favoring certain senior presenters before applications were even open.
The BBC denies the claims and stated they conducted internal reviews. The presenters were asked to reapply for chief presenter roles and were offered demotions as correspondents if unsuccessful, with Ms McVeigh the only one to have been appointed back as a chief presenter.
