A man has been rushed to hospital after a crash on the M25 near Brentwood. The crash caused significant delays on the clockwise carriageway.
At around 4.30pm, National Highways reported a car fire that closed two lanes between junctions 27 and 28, creating further delays.
Emergency services arrived promptly at the scene, but the incident caused delays of around an hour before being cleared shortly after 5pm.
It's currently unclear whether the crash and the car fire on the M25 are related incidents, leaving questions for the authorities.
