Initially from a village in Punjab, Mehak had moved to London after marrying and working as a carer. Her mother shared the shock of discovering Mehak's murder through police custody reports.
Detective Inspector Laura Semple described the incident as a tragic event that deeply impacted the victim's family, highlighting the devastation caused by Sharma's actions.
