A man was assaulted outside a pub in Hornchurch early on October 27, sustaining facial injuries from being struck with a gas canister.
The Metropolitan Police reported that they were called to the scene around 2:20 AM and have launched an investigation, but no arrests have been made yet.
Witnesses or anyone with information are urged to contact the police by calling 101, referencing CAD 142/27OCT to assist in the ongoing investigation.
