Man arrested after 60-year-old killed in Bexley hit-and-run

In the aftermath of the hit-and-run incident in Bexley, emergency services quickly arrived, but sadly, the 60-year-old pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 45-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to stop after attending a police station following the fatal incident.
Police are urging witnesses and those with dash cam footage from the area around the time of the collision to come forward and assist in the investigation.
The tragic event raised concerns about road safety, as the collision occurred shortly after 11.30pm on a busy road junction.
