"Network Rail has announced that there will be no mainline train services at the central London station on January 25 and 26 or February 1 and 2 for testing of in-cab signalling. This project, costing around 1.4 billion, aims to replace traditional lineside signals with in-cab displays by the end of 2025."
"Six train operators including LNER, Grand Central, Hull Trains, and Lumo are expected to be impacted by the station closure, resulting in various service reductions and coach replacements for affected passengers. Customers should expect extremely busy conditions on East Midlands Railway services to and from London St Pancras during this period."
