Millions of Londoners are about to see a host of inflation-busting essential bills rise steeply as firms roll out their annual April 1 price increases.
Across England and Wales, average bills will rise by 6% or about 27 to 473 a year from April 1.

Most broadband deals and mobile phone contracts are rising by a completely unacceptable 7.9% from April 1.
