The Met Office predicts Elgin in Moray, five miles from the coast in the Scottish Highlands, will hit 12C.Inverness, Aberdeen, and even John O'Groats on Great Britain's northeastern tip are expected to reach 11C - while Edinburgh and Glasgow could see temperatures of 10C.In London meanwhile the picture will be dramatically different - as it continues to feel close to freezing.
