Commuters on the Tube are suffering serious morning rush-hour disruption as emergency workers respond to a casualty on the track. The incident has closed the District line between Tower Hill and Upminster with severe delays on the rest of the line.
Members of the Transport Salaried Staffs' Association (TSSA) walked out at just after midnight on Friday and are banning overtime until May 5. The union said the action was likely to cause Tube stations to close at the last minute, including into Saturday morning.
