A key commuter railway line in south-east London has been shut after a person was hit by a train on Monday morning, causing severe disruption.
All train services between Lewisham and Hayes are currently suspended, with the possibility of some trains being diverted to Orpington due to the incident.
National Rail reported that disruption to Southeastern services is expected to last at least until midday, impacting many daily commuters in the area.
In addition to the train disruption, the Elizabeth Line is facing delays as a result of a separate trespass incident at Paddington station.
