London to get four new 'Music Hubs' in boost to education for young people

Four new Music Hubs covering north London, east London, west London, and south east London will receive a total of 12.1 million, including 3 million for instruments, equipment, and technology.
Consortiums from various music services across London, like the one led by Haringey Music Service in north London, will bring together music services from multiple London boroughs to enhance music education for children.
West London Music Hub and East London Music Alliance (ELMA) are composed of music services from several local authorities, receiving funding totaling 2,846,016 and 3,898,545 respectively.
South east London received the highest funding at 3,030,266 for the South East London Music Hub, led by existing Music Hub leads, aiming to enhance music education and access to creativity.
