Greenwich Council has stated that vulnerable residents can access financial assistance during the school holidays through a funding scheme aimed at families in need.
Eligibility for the support scheme includes families with children on free school meals, care leavers, and those temporarily housed, with payments set at £250 and £60 per child.
The funding is part of the government's £421 million Household Support Grant, supporting councils in providing financial help to households experiencing economic difficulties.
Applications can be made through caseworkers, and additional local support includes school clothing grants and Emergency Support Schemes for various crisis situations.
