"I was never involved with the murder. I was never at the scene. I had no involvement whatsoever," says Hai, reflecting on the damaging claim spread online.
"Now I just feel like I need to live. I need to own my own narrative of this. This was a miscarriage of justice. I'm the victim. I'm not the perpetrator," states Hai.
Hai expressed his distress over the spread of false information online, noting that despite being acquitted, the repercussions of the accusations continue to haunt him.
After 30 years of fighting to clear his name, Hai laments the hatred and barriers he faced, emphasizing that he always tried to do the right thing.
