Firefighters took almost five hours to bring a blaze at an industrial estate in Rainham under control.
A large plume of smoke could be seen after flames tore through a warehouse containing multiple industrial units.
Crews from Barking, East Ham, Wennington, Dagenham, Kent Fire, and Essex County Fire all attended the scene.
The fire being extinguished, a 25-metre cordon was put in place, and no injuries were reported; investigation into the cause is ongoing.
