Havering was also rated as the 11th saddest place in the UK, coming in at 210th out of 220 areas surveyed, falling just behind Bradford and Slough.

The study, conducted by Rightmove over 13 years, highlights Barking and Dagenham as London's saddest borough, while Woodbridge, Suffolk, is noted as the happiest.
